Grande-Terre: From Anse Laborde to Porte d'Enfer
Duration: 5h; Level: Easy; Type: One way; Elevation gain: +40m This hike is a portion of what is called the North Grande-Terre loop from the coast to the savannahs.

Here is a beautiful sample of the archipelago. It is of geological interest and offers a breathtaking view of the coastline and cliffs.

Starting from Anse Laborde, you will follow the Trace des pêcheurs to the Pointe de la Grande Vigie. When you arrive at the Porte d'Enfer, you will find carbets ensuring you a well-deserved rest.
The Soufriere volcano
Duration: 3h30; Level: Difficult; Type: Round trip; Elevation gain: 492 m First, the hike takes place in the tropical forest.

Then, the higher you climb, the more the vegetation will evolve until it gives the impression of a lunar landscape. Once at the summit, which is called the discovery at 1463 meters, the sulfur is very present visually and by its smell.

You will see fumaroles, walk along the crater and feel the earth vibrate under your feet.
Le Carbet falls
In the heart of the Guadeloupe National Park, the Carbet Falls are the highest on the Guadeloupe islands.

The water falls 115 meters to end its course in a grandiose natural cirque. To make this spectacle accessible to as many people as possible, a path leading to the second waterfall has been created.
Allow 20 minutes of walking to witness the magical spectacle of nature.
Les Saintes: The Camel
Duration: 3h30; Level: Medium; Type: loop; Elevation gain: 394m The walk to the Chameau is actually the ascent of the highest peak of the Saintes.

Throughout the walk, you will have an incredible view of the Saintes archipelago and the other surrounding islands.
​
The climb is on a tarmac road but closed to vehicles while the descent is on a small path where leaves and stones require you to be well-shod.
Marie-Galante: the Murat trail
Duration: 3h; Level: Easy; Type: loop; Elevation gain: 98m On this trail, culture is at the rendez-vous.

You will walk through the Marie-Galantais heritage with the Habitation Murat and the Mare au Punch. You will crisscross the cane fields, and discover the ponds and food gardens typical of the island.

Be careful, when passing the Coulée Ouliée, if it rains, the place can be dangerous. Otherwise, simply enjoy the coolness of the site.
La Désirade : The Montana trail
Duration: 1h30; Level: Easy; Type: loop; Elevation gain: 90 m The Montana trail allows you to discover the very special geology of Désirade.

You will go along the geological reserve before arriving at the old weather station whose very special architecture is designed by Ali-Tur.
​
You will also discover the old cotton mill and it is a safe bet that you will be escorted on this trail by iguanas.
