The Botanical Gardens

Nature is generous in the islands of Guadeloupe. Many gardens allow you to discover the trees, flowers and endemic species of the archipelago. The tree ferns, bamboo forests, hibiscus and the rarest palm trees will no longer hold any secrets for you.

Botanical garden of Deshaies

The most famous of our gardens, owes a lot to its former owner who had his house there, it is Coluche.

The park has now become the Botanical Garden of Deshaies.

​

Strolling through its paths and taking pictures in front of the Cheesemaker, discovering the pink flamingos and lorikeets that delight children, and ending your stroll at the restaurant is the must-see of our destination.

Valombreuse garden

The Valombreuse garden has recently been given a makeover. A train ride through the garden paths allows you to discover palm trees, orchids and tropical flowers.

The lunch area on the edge of a reservoir gives a bucolic feel to your day. The bird and butterfly aviaries put stars in the eyes of young and old.

Arid, prickly, but so rich!

The botanical garden of the Désert de la Désirade preserves a rare species which is that of the Melocactus and many others which will make you discover the flora of this land beaten by the winds and the spray of the Atlantic. The cacti and the rocky ground make this place definitely bears its name well.

Fort Napoléon Garden Les Saintes

The Fort Napoléon garden was born thanks to the sponsorship of the Botanical Gardens of Monaco and Nancy in 1984 and has since offered an incredible panorama of one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

Spread over two hectares, the garden is located within the grounds of a historic building and preserves cacti, agaves, euphorbias, and yuccas among others.

The water garden

The water garden is located in the town of Goyave and is located on the banks of the "Rose" river.

Several aquatic activities are offered in this garden. The water lily pond is remarkable for the density of flowers there.

​

At the end of your relaxing moment, you can choose your water plants in the greenhouse.
